Hello,

Do you plan to do a printed version of this book ?

Thanks,

Kris,
It's very likely. We will be sending the content to MSDN in the Feb 2009 timeframe and are researching a hard cover book. Anyone who would like to see a book, please comment this thread.

I will verify post any plans here in the future.

I did want to make clear that the PDF would be in the book, but the large amount of content on the Knowledge Base site would likely NOT make it in the book. This is the content on the http://www.codeplex.com/AppArch site.

I also vote for a printed version. Call me old school, but there is still something special about a good book in your hands.

I would have purchased a printed book myself. I did, however, decide it was worth the evil looks to print this out at work.

I've just gotten word that the plan is to put the PDF content into a printed book. We don't have a date.  Note J.D.s comment on this post about past experience with book timeframes.

"We've got a plan to go to print.  I've seen it take anywhere from 3 - 5 months, based on past experience."

fanstatic guide guys, well done, its a real gold mine of great information.

you've got my vote for a printed version too. having a printed version is great for those train and coffee shop moments.

i read on page 2 that we are unable to print the pdf, this is a real shame, i'd like to have a printed version for reference, am i really unable to print it?

You are welcome to print the PDF.  I wouldn't have personally added page numbers and a header and footer if we didn't intend it for printing. :)

The book is free for distribution and use. The copyright protects against other people reproducing the book for profit and changing the content and redistributing it without referring to the original. Though if you use Guidance Explorer, you know that we sort of allow for modification of the content for your particular organization.

Basically, use it however you want.  If you use the content, be sure let people know where it came from.

I would love to have a printed book. Soft cover would do but please don't wait until the material gets too obsolete.
