Obviously we're doing this work for you, the .NET developer/architect. We have a sense in our own minds about how this guide should help you, but the best way to know for sure is for you to tell us. So we would like to invite you to take just a moment after or during your time with this guide to share with us what you learned and how it has made a positive impact on your solution(s). Please be as specific as possible and feel free to just respond to this thead.

Thanks a bunch. We appreciate it immensely.

In previous years there has been a CD/DVD (.ISO) of all the content, and I would encourage MS to do same again

Happy New Year

Hi Dick,
Thanks for the info. Some others of these have been updated as well.  patterns & practices has two nodes in the MSDN tree. (Why is another story.  If this causes you a problem, let us know. We haven't had anyone actually complain yet so it's a lower priority to try and consolidate it.)

The other tree is under ".NET Development'.  http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa139630.aspx
You are going to find updated content there. For example, Visual Studio Team System content exists in that tree, which is an update for the Visual Studio with Sourcesafe content you list below.

If you have time and you'd like to update your extensive list, please do.  I'll pass on this input to the p&p management folks either way. We do appreciate your input.
